Back in 1994 I had a major “Self-Realization”, and since that moment, my life has been dedicated to what I call “God”, or the Universe, if you will. In an instant, it became crystal clear to me that I am not alive just for no reason. It isn’t a mistake or just a random happening. There are reasons that I am here, and I matter. I have purpose. There are things that I am supposed to do here while I’m alive, and I have been living my purpose all these years.
This year will mark the 20th anniversary of my “Self Realization”. Over the years, people have called me crazy, disillusioned, and people have also called me selfish. Some people were afraid for me, while some people laughed and rolled their eyes.
You see, I never went to college. I never joined the military. What I did was I grabbed up my guitar and said, “For better or for worse, it is me and you!” Twenty years later, I live in a nice house, I have a car, the most loving and wonderful family that anyone could ask for, a wife who loves me even when I’m an ass, an absolutely crazily beautiful daughter, guitars and instruments, paints, books, …. I could go on and on listing the abundance that is my life.
Want to know what the best part is? The best part is that most of the time I feel good.
All I ever really wanted was to feel good, but for years, I did not feel good. I didn’t have any idea what to do. I didn’t even know what it would feel like to feel good. Now I do.
That’s all you really want too. You may think you want more money or a better job or relationship or a new car, but you just want those things because you think they will make you feel good. I am here to tell you that this is all false. It is a band-aid short term solution, and soon you will need something else.
It isn’t the material things that have the ability to make you feel good. It has to come from within.
If you want to feel good and don’t know how, why not get in touch with me. I am here to help.
