Not only do you get what you need, you get it just when you need it. Just when you didn’t know what you were going to do, the answer appears, the angel steps in, the way opens up before you, and all is well. Have you ever noticed this?
BUT a most important lesson here for us all to get, is the “When you need it” part. Right? Who needs to know how to swim if you never get in the pool? What if I jump in and then find out that I can’t swim? What if there’s a shark in there? What if an under current takes me away? Switch this thinking over to “What if there isn’t another job out there that pays as much as I make now?” “What if things don’t work out between us?” “What if something goes wrong?” “What if I can’t cut the mustard?” “What if they find out that I don’t belong here?”, and you will quickly see what I am talking about.
Today, I am asking myself “What are you holding on to out of fear?” “Are you living your life based totally on fear?” I have to be clear with my intentions, I have to know what they are, and I have to know the reasoning behind them. As I’ve said a thousand times, it is okay and most normal to be afraid, but it is not okay to let fear paralyze me and keep me where I’m at. Facing fears and doing it anyway is what a Spiritual life is all about. Everyone gets fear when doing something new, or going out on a limb, but not everyone lets fear keep them in place.
I pointed out earlier the phenomenon that we always get what we need when we need it, and today I am going to make a list of times that I can remember when I got what I needed, right when I needed it. I will ask that you do the same. It is so easy for me to forget that the Hand is always there, that things always work out, even when I don’t see the solution. Often times, we don’t get what we need until we need it, so if we are afraid to put ourselves in a position to be in need, then what is the Universe to do?
The Universe cannot hand us something new if both our hands are full. This requires us to let go of things and of people that no longer serve us. This requires us to have faith, and let go of things, even before we have a replacement, even if we are afraid. So today I say to myself and to you; “Do the right thing! Face your fears and know that you will get what you need when you need it.”
