I have observed that people are either kind, or they aren’t. If you are a person who isn’t kind, you have to just fake it in the beginning. Be kind even if you don’t feel like it. That is what I did, and now I am kind most of the time, and it is much more natural to me now.

It’s easy to be kind when things are going my way, when I’m  in a good mood, or when I’m getting what I want. It isn’t so easy to be kind when you I’m in a bad mood, in a hurry, or  would just rather be somewhere else.  When I find myself dealing with someone that I have an issue with, this is when kindness counts the most.

“Why do I have to be kind to everyone?” The Golden Rule says “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” I have discovered that the way I feel about others is actually the way I feel about myself. What I “do unto others” is actually what I am doing to myself. How I treat other people is a reflection of how I feel about myself.

People who are truly happy and successful, are naturally kind. They love themselves and they like themselves, so in turn, that is how they feel about others. They don’t have to pretend.

“Today I will be kind, especially when I don’t feel like it.”

Many blessings to you!
Kyle
