Okay, first off let me just say that there were so many people and there was so much going on, that as usual, I didn’t get to speak and spend time with half the people that I’d have liked to.
Being in the house band and this year being a part of the key-note, left me with lots of deadlines and rehearsals, and so it all seemed to go by in a blur.
But what a blur it was.
Lots of things are just now beginning to sink in, such as the absolute power of Bishop Carlton Pearson.
I won’t tell you all about him, but will just say that this man left a ministry that was worth many millions, 4000 people at his services every Sunday, millions of television viewers… because he had a change in consciousness and got tired of threatening people with going to hell.
Then there was the music… the sweet music and it is the greatest blessing to hear all that sound and to be making some of it. Reverends Dale Worley and James King really “brought it,” and with Rochelle on the drums and Bobby on the bass, it was prestigious.
It is amazing to know that we have so many friends from all over Georgia, Florida, the Carolina’s, Tennessee,Alabama, and I even met some people that came all the way from Pennsylvania!
We all left saying, “I can’t wait till next year!”
